Fundamentals of Social Dancing PRACTICE May Mondays 6-7PM
This class is for EVERYONE including:
- Leads wanting to practice your cool moves before hitting the parties
- Beginners who have never been to a Latin dance party and want a welcoming environment
- Follows that want practice styling in a huge dance floor
- Ladies that want a super comfortable environment where they won’t get harassed
- Couples looking for someone to DJ for them
- Students of dance who want feedback and help but maximum practice time
Dates: Mondays in May 6-7pm
Location: 107 W Beverley Street, Staunton VA
Class Overview: In this class, you will practice how to dance socially. We will offer a short mini-lesson (10 minutes) about partnership, spatial and kinesthetic awareness, alignment, frame, balance, styling, musicality, or leading/ following technique at the beginning of the class. Then we will have 50 minutes of dance practice. Our DJ will play a mix of merengue, salsa, bachata, and maybe 1-2 songs from cumbia, kizomba,
What to Expect: A friendly, warm, sober environment. Semi-structured social event where you can ask your questions to an instructor.
Our Fundamentals class is for EVERYONE- and we mean EVERYONE!
